Dr. Mahmood Hachim has multidisciplinary backgrounds that shaped his medical degree and research career. With two Ph.D. in molecular medicine and translation research from University of Sharjah and Lubeck University in Germany, Master of research in cancer biology from University of Dundee and Master of Science in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from Al Nahrain University in Iraq.
Dr. Mahmoud researches focused on human microbiome and on applying novel bioinformatics approaches and state of the art omics approach. Understanding the molecular basis of such diseases to identify novel diagnostic and predictive clinically proven biomarkers is his goal.
Specifically, understanding the exact role of host immune response and microbiome interaction in susceptibility and development.

Dr.L.Jeyaseelan is a Professor of Biostatistics at the MBRU of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai, UAE, and a Fellow of International Clinical Epidemiology (INCLEN) network. Dr.L.Jeyaseelan pursued one year Fellowship on Advanced level Biostatistics, Clinical Epidemiology and Epidemiology at the University of New Castle, Australia in 1989-90. I am awarded PhD in Biostatistics in 1989. Since then, Dr.L.Jeyaseelan trained Medical graduates (Bachelor (MBBS) and Masters (MD & MS)), Master’s students in Public Health, MSc Nursing and PhD students in statistical methods, epidemiology and computing.
Dr.L.Jeyaseelan worked as Visiting Professor at the University of Washington from 2004-2006. Dr.L.Jeyaseelan worked in Sultan Qaboos University Hospital as Consultant Professor for two years. During this period Dr.L.Jeyaseelan have conducted 22 workshops for the faculty members of the university. Dr.L.Jeyaseelan have been actively involved in conduction basic and advanced level Biostatistics and Epidemiological workshops since 2001. Dr.L.Jeyaseelan have had collaborations with University of North Carolina, McMaster University and University of Oklohama. Dr.L.Jeyaseelan served as PI, Co-PI on National level projects in India. Dr.L.Jeyaseelan served as a member of Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) of WHO Polio Studies . He has more than 200 papers published in national and international journals. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at PDC-CRO Life Sciences Solutions, where she spearheads large-scale initiatives that bridge science, policy, and access to innovative therapies.

With over 22 years of experience, Rita has led the design and execution of national disease registries (including hemophilia, psoriasis, obesity, and rare diseases), multi-technology assessments (MTAs) for health ministries, and transformative projects on youth EQ-5D valuation. She has overseen more than 200 economic evaluations, 30 patient support programs, and 45 outcome-based managed entry agreements (MEAs), making her one of the region’s foremost experts in evidence-driven healthcare transformation.

Dr. Khadeija Ahmed Saeed Al-Marshoudi is an accomplished Emirati clinical pharmacist and healthcare researcher with over 14 years of experience in clinical care, health economics, and digital health innovation. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical and Translational Research from Newcastle University and currently serves as Head of Planning and Development at Emirates Health Services (EHS), where she leads strategic initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery.

Dr. Al-Marshoudi specializes in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Budget Impact Analysis (BIA), and formulary decision-making. Her pioneering contributions include implementing robotic pharmacy systems, enhancing Cerner electronic health records, and developing antimicrobial stewardship dashboards. These efforts have earned her prestigious recognitions, including the International Hospital Federation Award and the Zero Bureaucracy Award.

She is also the Director of the ISPOR UAE Chapter and the author of a pharmaceutical compounding manual. Her research focuses on areas such as respiratory pharmacotherapy, COVID-19 pharmacogenomics, and obesity management. Dr. Ibrahim Yaseen Hachim is Assistant Professor in Pathology, College of Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences, Sharjah university. Dr. Ibrahim is a medical doctor with M.Sc. in histopathology. He obtained his Ph.D. from Cancer Research Program, College of Medicine, McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Hachim is known for his research work in the field of molecular pathology. His research interest includes. molecular pathology.
Dr. Ibrahim had more than 40 publications in different prestigious journals. During his career, Dr. Ibrahim received several awards including two doctoral scholarships, two Graduate Excellence Award, George G. Harris Fellowship in Cancer, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. In addition, to Pauline Blinder Krupp Award for the most promising clinical researchers in Montreal, Canada.

Noha Mousaad Elemam graduated from the German University of Cairo in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Biotechnology with Highest Honors. Then, she joined the master’s program in the Molecular Pathology Research Group (MPRG) in German University of Cairo. Her research work focused on the pathogenesis and epigenetic miRNA regulation of hepatitis C virus infection as well as the role of the immune natural killer (NK) cells in fighting viral infections. She obtained her master’s degree in 2014 with the grade “Excellent” in Molecular Pharmacology.
In 2016, Noha joined the Ph.D. program with a full-granted scholarship in Molecular Medicine and Translational Research at the University of Sharjah, along with a dual Ph.D. degree from University of Lübeck, Germany. During the Ph.D., Noha joined the Immuno-Oncology group with Prof. Azzam A. Maghazachi, a well-known distinguished immunologist, the rheumatologist Dr. Suad Hannawi as well as Prof. Jennifer Hundt. She focused on assessing the role of NK cells in cancer and autoimmune diseases, with colorectal cancer and rheumatoid arthritis as models. Currently, Noha is a postdoctoral research associate at the Sharjah Institute for Medical Research at the University of Sharjah. Noha published more than 30 papers in high impact factor journals and delivered many poster and oral presentations in several international and local conferences.

Dr Momen Atieh is a registered Periodontist in Dubai and New Zealand. He is currently holding the position of Chair of Oral Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences, Associate Professor in Periodontology at Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Honorary Associate Professor at University of Otago in New Zealand.
Dr Atieh holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Jordan, a Master of Science degree in Oral Surgery from the University of Manchester, a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree in Periodontology and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Oral Implantology from the University of Otago. Dr Atieh is the author of over 30 significant systematic reviews and meta-analyses of in peer-reviewed high-impact journals. His systematic reviews and meta-analyses include reviews of intervention, association and diagnostic accuracy studies.
Dr Atieh has also published on the methodological aspects and outcome reporting bias in systematic reviews. He is also teaming up with the Cochrane Oral Health Group as a reviewer and an author of two Cochrane reviews in Oral Implantology.
Dr Atieh is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, the New Zealand Society of Periodontology, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the American Academy of Periodontology. He is also a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).

Ahmed Salem Zayat a senior consultant of rheumatology and a chairman of therapeutic (P& T) committee at the University Hospital Sharjah, UAE. Hold a of Master of Science (MSc) from university of Leeds, UK (2007), Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Canterbury Christ Church University, UK (2009), Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD), University of Leeds, UK (2012), and RCP Rheumatology Specialty Certificate Examination (2013).
Dr. Zayat had been awarded several times; Local Clinical Excellence Award, Bradford teaching hospitals, 2018, National Institute for health research (NIHR) clinical Lectureship Award, 2013, Howard Bird First Prize, Yorkshire Educational Training Programme 2013, Second Prize, Yorkshire Educational Training Programme 2012, and Distinction in Medical Imaging MSc program, University of Leeds 2007. Dr. Zayat has many publications and presented at different national and international conferences.

Dr. Nabil Sulaiman is the Head of Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Sharjah and a senior research fellow at the Baker/International Heart and Diabetes Research Institute, Melbourne, Australia, and the Director of Sharjah Clinical and Surgical Training Centre.
Dr. Sulaiman has worked in several universities including Australia, the UK, Yemen and Iraq as well as Sharjah, winning several research and education awards. He is the principle investigator of several qualitative and quantitative research projects in Sharjah, UAE and Melbourne, Australia. Before coming to Sharjah as a founding member of the COM, Nabil spent 10 years as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of General Practice, The University of Melbourne, Australia. Nabil is a lifelong member of WONCA.

Dr. Mostafa, Originally from Egypt, Mr. Mostafa brings with him over 10 years of experience in Clinical Research Development and Consultancy across MENA region working at both Pharmaceutical and Contract Research Organization Industry.
