Hani M. Sabbour is currently Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and also former Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at Al Ain Hospital, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. He served as Director of Cardiac Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology at Landmark Medical Center in Rhode Island USA from 2003 until 2012 . Since January 2013, he has held an academic appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor Cardiovascular Disease at Warren Alpert School of Medicine, Brown University.He established a comprehensive Pulmonary Hypertension Center and PH registry at SKMC as well as leading the SEHA PH guideline writing team to complete the SEHA clinical practice guidelines in PAH.
Dr Sabbour received his medical training at the Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University, culminating in a medical doctorate in 1994 and awarded His Highness The Emir’s Gold Medal with First Class Honors . He completed residencies at Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations and SUNY Stony Brook – East Meadow Campus in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He was also Clinical and Research Fellow in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School, where he received ABIM Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Certification in 2003. He is ABIM certified in Internal medicine, Cardiovascular Disease , Cardiac Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant , ECHO and Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr Sabbour has been involved in multiple clinical trials; his extensive research on cardiovascular diseases has been published in a number of multi-center clinical trials and publications. His clinical interests include integrated device therapy and CHF, correlative cardiac imaging, nuclear cardiology, arrhythmia management particularly atrial fibrillation, management of valvular heart disease, drug monitoring and management program and particularly Pulmonary Hypertension Dr. Sabbour is currently a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology , Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Physicians , and Egyptian American Medical Association.

A board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, Faiza Mohamed Al Ali is a Senior Consultant Dermatologist and a head of Dermatology department at Al Qasmi hospital-Ministry of Health and Prevention. Previously, DR. Al Ali worked as a consultant dermatologist at Dubai Health Authority for over twenty years. Dr. Al Ali was recently assigned as the Head of Dermatology Department in Al Qassimi Hospital, Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE. Her academic qualifications include MBBS from King Saud University in Riyadh, KSA, Arab Board in Dermatology and Venereology and the European Board of Dermatopathology (ICDP-UEMS) from Frankfurt, Germany. She received her dermatopathology training at the University of Graz, Austria.
She is the Founder and President of Dubai International Academy of Dermatopathology and Dubai International Academy of Laser and Aesthetic Dermatology (DIAD-DIAL). Dr. Al Ali published many scientific papers and she is an author of four medical books. Her last book is “Challenging Cases in Dermatology: Advanced Diagnosis and Management Tactics – Volume 2” was published by Springer in October 2019.

Dr Tamima Al-Dughaishi, is a senior consultant in maternal fetal medicine at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Sultanate of Oman. Founder & President of Oman Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Graduated from the college of medicine at Sultan Qaboos university in 1999 then did a full residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McGill University, Canada and awarded the Canadian board of OBS& GYN in 2006 (FRCSC). She finished a two years’ fellowship program in maternal fetal medicine at Ottawa University and awarded the Canadian board in maternal fetal medicine in 2008. Dr Tamima is currently working as a senior consultant in maternal fetal medicine at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, with special interest in management of fetal anomalies and multiple pregnancies. She has been active in conducting and publishing research in high risk obstetrics and fetal medicine. In addition, she has been active in participating and organizing national and international conference in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. AlRefaee is currently the Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Services at Ministry of Health and a Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Head of Pediatric GI Unit at Al Adan Hospital in Kuwait. He was the former Head of Pediatrics Department at Al Adan Hospital from 2014-2018, former Head of Pediatrics Council at the Ministry of Health, Kuwait from 2016-2018 and former Program Director of the Pediatrics Residency Program (KIMS) between 2012 to 2018.
Dr. AlRefaee finished medical school at Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University (MBBS) then went to Canada to obtain residency in Pediatrics at Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada, then Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition fellowship at University of Alberta, Canada. Furthermore, Dr. AlRefaee is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
Dr. AlRefaee has a special interest in celiac disease, nutrition, functional GI diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Mona Alrukhaimi is Professor of Medicine at Dubai Medical College, United Arab Emirates, Consultant physician & Nephrologist and Ex-Head of Medical and Renal Department, Dubai Hospital, the current President of the Emirates Medical Association Nephrology Society , and the Ex-Vice president of Arab society of Nephrology & Renal Transplantation and the leader of the KDIGO Implementation Task Force for the Middle East & African Regions. Prof. Alrukhaimi was elected as a member of WHO Task Force on Donation and Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues (2018- 2021). Prof. Alrukhaimi was the ISN Council (2011-2017),ISN Executive Committee Member (2015-2017) and Ex-chair of ISN Middle East Region. She is the first female Nephrologist and Internist in the UAE. Graduated from the University of Kuwait in 1983 and subsequently received her MRCP (UK) in 1989, FRCP Edinburg – 2001 and FRCP London – 2005 Prof. Alrukhaimi has actively organized World Kidney Day activities in the UAE since 2006 and the past seventh rounds of the ISN Update Course in Nephrology. Prof. Alrukhaimi played an active role in the Declaration of Istanbul on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism . Prof. Alrukhaimi was a member of the Steering Committee for Women in Transplantation under TTS. Prof. Alrukhaimi is regular Examiner at the Royal College of Physician of UK. Prof. Alrukhaimi is country investigator in DOPPS 5, 6 and 7. She Co-Chaired the 13th MESOT Meeting in 2012, and Chaired the 12th Congress of the Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation (ASNRT),The 7th ISN-EMAN Update Course in Nephrology in 2017 and the 13th ISHD Congress in 2018. Prof. Alrukhaimi has received various prestigious awards, including the Ministry of Education Award, UAE (1976), Sheikh Rashid AlMaktoum Award for Postgraduate achievement (1989), the National Kidney Foundation International Distinguished Medalist, USA (2007) , Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid AlMaktoum Award for Medical Science (2012) and a special honor and award of recognition by Gulf Medical University (2012). As well, Prof. Alrukhaimi act as congress cochair for the 51th international congress of the ISODP Nov 2019 in Dubai which was the first of its kind to be done in ME region .

Dr. Idrees is adjunct professor of pulmonary medicine at the university of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and the former Head of Pulmonary Division and the of Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit at Prince Sultan Military Medical City (Armed Forces Hospital), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Idrees was the first to establish the nucleus of pulmonary vascular diseases/pulmonary hypertension medicine in the Arab Gulf countries and is the founder, and the former head, of the Saudi Association for Pulmonary Hypertension.
Dr. Idrees received his M.B, B. S. degree from King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabi, and did his postgraduate training in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine at University of British Columbia, Canada from 1992-1997. Dr. Idrees had his American Board degree in Pulmonary Medicine in 1996, and the Canadian Board in Pulmonary Medicine in 1997.
Dr. Idrees major area of research is related to pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular diseases. He has more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals that include book chapters, original papers, and review articles. Dr. Idrees is the primary coauthor and the Saudi Guidelines in both Asthma and COPD. Dr. is a manuscript reviewer and co-editor of many medical journals.
Dr. Idrees was awarded and recognized for his achievement in the field of pulmonary vascular diseases by the Pulmonary Vascular Research Institute, and his name was added to the “Pulmonary Hypertension Committee of Honor” chosen by the Spanish Ministry of Health. Dr. Idrees has been invited as a guest speaker in many national and international meetings and gave more than 450 lectures in different fields of pulmonary medicine.

Linda Saf eldin, M.B.B.S in Medicine & Surgery, MRCEM, MSc. (Hons) Quality & Safety in Healthcare Management, The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).
Physician with experience in general surgery for more than 10 years in Ministry of Health and prevention of UAE, (MOHAP).
After receiving her Bachelor degree in medicine, Dr. Linda worked in refugees and war regions as (first line surgical resident in orthopedics and general surgery departments) in Sudan, This great experience refined her knowledge and skills specially in trauma management and wound care which supported later with number of courses and certifications in surgery and wound care.
Her interest in research and evidence-based studies motivated her to participate in number of studies with WHO and other non-governmental organization in Sudan.
Dr. Linda obtained the Master degree in Quality & Safety in Healthcare Management, from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), and currently working as a Mentor for the master level students (RCSI).
Furthermore, she lead number of quality initiatives and projects that added over all for the patient care and safety, Such as: The project manager and coordinator for Failure Mode and Effect Analysis Projects (2014 to 2019), Participated in the Patient Safety Conference 2016 with poster about culture of safety in behalf of MOHAP. Coordinate number of quality orientation sessions. Write and updates the Access of Care and Continuity of Care Standards Policies for MOHAP since 2014 to 2021.
She has been awarded by MOHAP undersecretary office twice (2015 & 2018) for her outstanding performance and efforts for accreditation and re accreditation process in
AL- Kuwaiti Hospital Dubai and chosen 4 times as the best general practitioner throughout the last 10 years in Al – Baraha Hospital.
Currently Dr. Linda is working in the General surgery Department, Dealing with Covid-19 patients in Critical care units, member of Research and Ethics Committee, Culture of Safety Committee, JCIA steering committee and auditing team in Al Kuwait-Dubai Hospital Dubai.
